Online Statements FAQs

Note: If you’re looking for instructions on how to view or manage your Online Statements, you can find that information in our Help Center under Customer Service.

  • An Online Statement is an electronic, PDF version of your account statement. It contains the same account information as paper statements. It's delivered online instead of through the U.S. mail.

    • When you choose to receive your statements online for U.S. Bank checking, savings and money market accounts and for U.S. Bancorp Investment accounts, you’ll also receive online letters and notices (notifications triggered by specific account events).
    • For U.S. Bank checking, savings and money market accounts you can choose to receive electronic check images with your statement (you’ll no longer receive them in the mail if you go paperless).
  • Yes. By logging in using your online credentials your connection is secure. See our Online Security Center to learn more about how we ensure that your personal information is safe.

  • No, there is no charge to receive your statements online.

  • U.S. Bank or U.S. Bancorp Investments will send an email and/or text message to the address you choose when you stop paper statement delivery. A message will also be sent to your online Message Center each time you have a new statement available. Not familiar with the Message Center? On the My Accounts page, look for the "Messages" area on the lower left side of the screen.

  • Consumer and Small Business Checking, Savings and Money Market accounts: No, statements issued prior to going paperless won’t be available online. You can accumulate up to 7 years of Online Statements from the time you go paperless, but not before.

For other U.S. Bank and U.S. Bancorp Investments accounts, you’ll continue to see up to 7 years of previous account statements online when you go paperless.
